How Chat&Go® Works

1. Start the chat on WhatsApp

You can begin in one of two ways:
• Scan the QR Code found at bus stops or on promotional materials
• Or send a message on WhatsApp to +39 339 9951248

A virtual assistant from START Romagna will respond and guide you through the entire process.

2. Choose your ticket

With Chat&Go® you can purchase:
Public transport tickets (urban and suburban buses)
Ferry tickets for Ravenna

All tickets are digital, secure, and immediately available on your phone.

3. Pay quickly and securely

Payment is fast and can be made via:
• Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, China UnionPay)
• Google Pay
• Apple Pay
• Fast payment link (no need to enter your details each time)

Your ticket in your pocket

After completing your purchase, you’ll receive a WhatsApp message with a link to your digital ticket with a QR code.
• It’s ready to use immediately
• It remains available in the chat, even if you close the app
• It is valid only on the device used to make the purchase

If you purchase multiple tickets, all passengers must travel with you using the same device.

NEW: How to validate your bus ticket

For public bus tickets, validation on board is required:
• Hold the QR code close to the green optical validator on the bus
• Keep a distance of at least 10 cm
• Wait for the green light on the screen – this confirms successful validation

Note: If your ticket does not require validation, this will be clearly indicated.
